I've noticed a recent change in a family member of mine.
He's acting tired all the time, and really pissy.
I think he's found a new drug.
I know he's done coke (not sure how many times) and i looked at the history on our computer and there was a search for Cyclobenzaprine on wikipedia. (I wasn't trying to invade his privacy, besides we share the comp., I am just looking out for him) I looked at the effects, and I just thought, "What the fuck".
He also got some Percocet for his broken leg, but those are long gone.
So anyone know what some symptoms of withdrawal from coke or Cyclobenzaprine are? To sum it up, he's acting tired, kinda moody, spacey, pissy, and selfish. thanks, any help appreciated

Nice guess.
Too bad he's 18. I wish that was the problem...

Probably nothing, but now that you mention it.
I wish I was taking cocaine

Does he still go outside and interact socially? Did he seem generally happier before he turned this way?
Does he still bath daily?

Yeah, he still goes out and drinks/smokes with his friends, but he just seems...different. He gets angry REALLY easily now.

Oh... Then its normal. Hes just getting a little angrier. He needs to smoke some more weed.

Maybe he ran out of weed?
Get some grow lights. It'll give him a way to vent, by gardening, plus the payoff is more happiness.

Fuck off with these questions. I think you're a cop or an incapable parent. Bye bye, don't come visiting us no more.

either that, or a retarded christian type that just recently heard rumors about a family member of theirs 'taking drugs' from AFOAF and is now trying to find out which drugs exactly they're doing so that know what to tell the cops when they go turn his ass in

Does it really matter what intentions they have? They are here asking for information, you are not the internet police.
I wish I had more information for you, but honestly the sounds of the mood swings, etc can be ANY number of drugs, legal or illegal, aswell as stress issues, boyfriend/girlfriend problems, school, home life, sickness, or just a certain period of time in their life...
I think the best way to find out would be talking to them 1 on 1, and seeing whats up...even if they dont tell you, you might gain a better understanding.

If you know he's had a problem with cocaine before. & got some perc's from a broken leg it's probably one of the two. Really the drug he's on doesn't make much difference but to me it sounds like probably some type of Opiate.
The best signs of this withdrawal are probably huge black bags under his eyes. Spaced out-ness followed by complete asshole behavior if you attempt to snap him out of it. Laying in bed a lot but not sleeping. lack of personal hygiene (unless thats normal). It could be anything tho man! Depression, anxiety, whatever. The real problem to be addressed is whats wrong with him. Drugs are just a shield, that don't allow those things to be addressed.

Thank you. I am concerned about him. No I am not a religious freak or a mother (I drink, smoke, and do shrooms and acid), I am a regular guy just wondering whats up with my brother. Anyway, whatever. I'm sure I'll figure it out...
