should i be concerned ( grain question)

i innoculated 7 pint jars of grain with a really really nice syringe of EQ! lots of nice chunks in it! anyhow. its been 3 days and no signs of life! the only thing i did different this time is used normal tap water as opposed to spring water and i cooked hte grain first to get all the extra crap off it in a bot for 45 mins! this also allowed the grains to fill with water. i then drained it for at least 30 mins ! so lots of water would have drained out.. ? i innoculated on the 22nd of july acutally.. so its been like 2.5 days.. should i be concerned? i mean they are in the same incubator as all my other jars are and they are growing just fine.

2.5 days is too short to tell if anyting is wrong.

yeah that is what im thinking i just wanted to see if not using spring water makes a big difference
