Went to the TOOL concert last night!!!

It was fucking amazing...thats all I can say!
The bass player just rocks the house, the drummer is outta this world, the guitar kicks it...and the vocals are fucking insane!

The way this band brings everything together is just fucking incredible!
Then theres the light show!:eek:

The show here sold out in 20 mins...thats how good they are!
It's nice to see there are still bands out there pushing QUALITY music.
I would suggest everyone experience at least one TOOL show!

Fuck me...I enjoyed the show so much I even framed my tickets and the
10,000 days CD!

Awesome Band...Awesome show!

Ended up having to pay $250 a pair for killer seats...but thats just me being lazy and not waiting in line when the tix went on sale.

I saw their concert when they came by this summer. It was such an amazing show , how they played every song so well , the sound quality was as good as the CD. They even had a drum-off in the middle of Lateralus , between Danny Carey ( tool drummer ) and the drummer from the first band ( Big Business). Then they finished the song and I came in my pants.

They sound better live than studio...I couldnt believe how they pulled every thing together so well!

What was the setlist for your show? Also, were you intoxicated in any manner?

They're just a bunch of second rate Zeppelin wannabes without an inkling of originality. They in no way push the envelope and have done nothing to help develop rock'n'roll. If they were playing small clubs like they should be I wouldn't mind but with 20,000 plus fans a night acting like they're seeing something on par with Sabbath or Zep is just fucking sad and retarded. That's why.

and another thing, they do push the envelope in a lot of areas in my opinion, but one in particular. they tend to write a lot of their songs in a through composition manner. i'd like you to find me another mainstream band that through composes as well as they do, and still keeps the average listener hooked. schism is a prime example of this. third eye. rosetta stoned. third eye. i can go on and on.

and that isn't even getting into the signature sound they have. plus the dynamics that each musician brings to every facet of the sound.

i know we are just arguing our subjective opinions, but honestly, i don't think your argument holds any water whatsoever. if you don't like their music, just say so, but don't attack the originality because that just makes you sound bitter.
