my first concert

Tonight, I'm headed toward Wichita for what will be my first "real" concert..The 10,000 days tour! Anyway I'm looking for tip and tricks to have an extra special time. What do should I look for re: people looking to get rid of fungi or blotter?? I know this is kinda out there but hey, I wanna have a blast!

Walk around the parking lot, or area in which the concert will take place. Try to arrive an hour or so early and walk the "lot". Look friendly. :shrug: good luck

DO NOT DO THAT. Cops hang around parking lots. stay inside just ask random people, someone will have. be friendly, dance, have fun and if u dont already have a gf talk to LOTS of chicks. like all of them.

Uh, it's a Tool concert, the two I went to there wasn't too much dancing or talking to the chicks.

Personally I would say don't worry about drugs, go sober if it's your first event, but that's me. In general I prefer to be sober for concerts.

I went to a Tool show last year, they were incredible, even though I was sober :rolleyes::tongue2:

I love The Temptations... sadly the only times I've seen them I think only one of the originals is still alive/part of the group :sad:

Ahhh that's awesome! I was completely prepared to be blown away by the motown grooves...but when I arrived, it was mostly extremely old people who would bitch when you danced, and it was slightly depressing to see the arrangement of old black men moseying around the stage. :frown:

At least we still have the movie, eh?

I saw Smokey Robinson last year at the Syracuse Jazz Fest, that was really fucking good, definitely better than the Temptation shows.

Ah there will likely be a stack of cops. I saw the 10k days tour in sydney, pretty awesome. There were so many people smoking, every 10mins or so one would light up and then just at is was done a security guard would come rushing down, asking if anyone was smoking weed, while there was still a big cloud of it sitting over everyone. Funny shit

This will surely be an experience you will never forget. Well the shows over by now. I hope they played triad for you like BMB mentioned on the site. I went to the Tucson show last Sunday and I had the best time of my life. It was my 5th tool show, 4th of this tour. I can't say enough good things about the show. unbelievable! I want to hear your concert review.

edit: I just looked at the set list and see that you didn't get triad, or pushit. But right in two made up for it im sure.
