she recently told her husband she was gay, then decided she's asexual. they're thinking about separating. quote is below.
"Well, we still love one another...the problem is that I am distanced from sex and that I don't want to force myself to do something that doesn't feel natural for me. At the same time, I want all of his needs to be fulfilled, and since I can't do that, the only other thing to do is to enjoy what we have, which is a close friendship and trust, and let each other do their own thing. That feels good to me.
If you love someone, gotta set them free...you know."
i think she just is not attracted to him, or otherwise bored of him, mad at him, whatever, and invented this to create a seperation.
amirite!?

Yeah.
She's a bit fucked up there.
Maybe their sex is just... bad?
I had a friend, ugly as hell, that was tried to convince me the fact that he'd never get laid didn't matter, because he said he was asexual.
But... who was he kidding.

She does seem a little fucked up, but who isn't?
I mean..whatever the reason, being gay or not attracted to him, she should be able to walk away from the relationship. Yeah, that can be fucked up, but if you don't feel it your just waisting your fucking time.

How many marriages have that much sex anyway?
They don't need sex for a marriage.

I typically kick the women out when they quit putting out married or not. Fuck your possessions set yourself free and everything else will follow. Maybe they need professional help.

I think she's so unbelievably honest to herself about her feelings that it dooms her because her feelings sweep across wide spectrums moment to moment...

Hey, it's me. Well, I don't know what the future holds, I only know what is happening now. I am only aware of my feelings every present moment and can rarely predict my own actions in the future. (can you? if so, give me some tips! )
The answer is that I know myself much better now at almost 25 then I did when I got married at age 18.

This happens to me after a few weeks...I just fall out of lust for the person.
I have no idea what it's like being in Love, and I am older than you,
I can't imagine being married at 18. I was 18 when I kissed my first boy.

Exactly...I was raised that the proper "Christian" thing to do is to marry a good man and be a good wife. So I did that after I graduated from high school and moved out of my parents house, and thought I could be happy with that arrangement FOREVER.
WRONG. I didn't realize how long forever can be whenever you just are not feeling happy. There is so much stigma attached to marriage that a whole tide of ideas flood your mind when you hear someone is married. WEll, I want to be free of any attachment or stigma in my life. I want to be free of everything. That's just how I feel like being and what's wrong with that. Bound to nothing and no one, free to love everything and everyone.
So anyway, I'm just kinda content where I'm at right now...feeling out of touch with my sexuality but I still feel open-hearted towards everyone, no exclusion.
