I heard from a few people that air exchange(fanning) helps pins to grow big and not abort. To make sure of this i fan my casing every 3 hours or so, whenever it crosses my mind.
Try fanning 4 times a day, just open the terr and fan with your hand!

I would like to know the depth of the substrate also. IME deeper is better. On the other hand airexchange can also be the reason for small fruits.

I have 2 Hawaiin casings that just finished their first flush. I used 4 jars for each casing, same casing material, same kind of container used, but they're in different sized fruiting chambers. The one in the bigger fruiting chamber had bigger fruits.
I have 4 bubblers in each. I don't know what I'd put it down to though. It's not the strain. The one batch of Hawaiins fruited very nicely.

This might sound corny, but look at it through the mushrooms eyes. The mushrooms are afraid that they dont have much time to live because of the poor/fair conditions they are in, so they dont care about growning, they just lay eggs (spores) asap, for the sake of thier own existance ......anyways
My advice would be Air exchange. The aquarium pump is a good idea but it could be too small for your terrarium..If you have the time, just spray the outside area slightly with lysol (if you have bad luck with contams) and fan manualy.
If you dont have the time, its time to buy a bigger pump.
I have always done it manualy without any contam problems.
