I can see what you're talking about.  Me and a friend had a discussion about seeing "beings" in carpet, textured ceilings, etc. just last night.  Like you don't actually see an actual demon but the way the texture is arranged looks like faces or bodies.  I look for faces in the carpet and ceiling when i'm stoned quite a bit, and when i was a little kid I would do it too, especially when sitting in church :lol:
