Worm castings and PF cake spawn. Doomed?

Hey!

I took a contaminated cake and shaved off the outer layer leaving about a 1/4 pint of spawn. I poured some Hydrogen peroxide solution straight out of the bottle and rindes this cake core off with it, then rinsed that off under the kitchen tap. It fizzed like hell.

Then I crumbled the cake core in a clean bowl, and sprayed it with the dilute peroxide solution I spray my double ended cakes with. It fizzed some too.

Then I mixed it into about a pound of microwave pasteurized worm castings.

After a few days, I saw some mycelium still alive in the bag, but It could have just been growing from a cake piece. It seemed a bit wet and muddy, so I threw in some vermiculite to fluff t up a bit.

That was 2-3 days ago, and now no growth visible.

What should I do now? It might be a bit dry.

I'm just trying to get some bit of experience with worm castings, and try out my castings source before I start a new project. The castings are from Mushroompeople.

Um...Still nothing, thinking about maybe misting it some more.
