I got fired once. They tried to be civil about it and told me i could stick around to the end of the month to stay busy.

I told him that was not going to happen and walked out.

well, the day I quit I went into the office to tell my ops manager and she went on a 30 minute hissy fit about how worthless i was, then ended the whole rant with "can you at least stay until the end of the month?"

I was like "nope, here's my pager, secureID, and file cabinet key" and she like stands over the desk and starts on another rant that starts off "you're SUCH a disappointment" and I cut her off and say "YOU'RE the disappointment! you treat people like crap and you're so high up on your horse you don't see this whole program is crumbling!" then she reaches over the desk and I seriously thing she's about to hit me and she screams "GIVE ME YOUR BADGE" so I took it off and tossed it on her desk. she then went around and told everyone i was fired.

what a cunt.

u got to get laid off to get unemployment not fired. i been fired twice and i was like oh well now i can goto the movies and the second time i was like pissed, cuz it was hard finding a job i had then

if i were fired from the job i have right now i would be downright befuddled. they love me there, and i'm constantly getting more involved, taking on more of the miscellaneous workload and all. if i did happen to get fired though, i'd probably say something along the lines of "are you serious? what the fuck for?"

I was removed from the schedule at my work for a week because I had to call in two nights in a row. I went in the next day and wrote "I quit. Feel free to kiss my ass" across my column in the schedule on the wall for everybody to see.
