So I just got a credit card and....

when I called and tried to active it they put me on hold for like 15 mins, I talked to a guy, gave him my info and he said 1 sec, hold for 15 mins again and I got a different guy. Both forgein, hard to understand. I gave the second guy my info and told him I wanted it activated. He said my ssn was wrong. I told serveral times to make sure he copied it correctly, it was very hard to understand this guy, but he said the ssn I was giving him didn't match the account, even though the name, address, etc all matched right. I told him there was some mistake, he said I bunch of stuff I couldn't understand, I told him I was mad, I'd been on the phone too long, couldn't understand him and just wanted my damn card turned on. So he activated it. and I thanked him. I used it for the first time today. I spent about $270 of the $300 limit. I tried to access my account online, it said my info didn't match. I called up and all my info was correct except my ssn. So now I have this card I can use, but did doesn't have my correct ssn on it.
What should I do?
I can finish maxing it out and get another credit card or try to get them to switch my ssn over. This is my first credit card so I'm new to this =p
I just think it's kinda funny that I have this credit card to use and they don't even know my social security number...

yea well I've had my glassblowing workshop for about two years now but technically I'm just a hobbist. The credit card isn't actually a business credit card, but I got it for my glass. Intending to build up some credit to maybe get a loan for my business one day.

Good plan, then you can earn 10% APR on a loan you are paying 20% APR for.

You never get ahead with credit cards. You only get into debt, thats the only thing they do. Ya, they build credit, but ask yourself. What is credit good for?

Good credit just allows you to get into more debt. Its a rigged system, nobody is designed to win except the credit card companies.

Also, back to your original question, you better change that SSN so that its correct on the account. Find out how and do it. If you try to max it out then ignore it so it doesn't fall onto your credit, that will come back to bite you in the ass. Credit companies talk to each other for a reason. Mainly to screw you, thats the only function they have.

I have a rewards card that I pay of in full each and every month. I actually make about $400 year on it. Credit cards are just so much easier than cash.

,,yes they are, I had to file bankruptcy because of them, and none of them were a major credit cards, just for other stores.

Call the credit card company and ask them about any problems you have, asap, well most likely it will be around bankers hours, I have had my share of that.
