Having trouble with oink!

ive had oink for like 2 weeks and so far i have downloaded about 5 gigs.
i try to seed everything i download but nobody leeches from me.
this is fucking up my ratio bad and i don't want to get banned.

any suggestions? can anyone reccomed some files i should download for the specific pupose of seeding?

ive searched all files by # of leechers and pretty much every file has 2 or 3 times the ammount of seeders than leechers.

help!

i downloaded several mac music apps and the newest cracked copy of windows xp, seemed to help the ratio out a bit. you could also seed your own shit.

5GB is the magic number when the clock starts ticking,
I always have luck with photoshop stuff, especially plug ins.

Download a chunk of the Rosetta Stone language pack. You can halt it after a while, then just upload what you got.

you shouldn't have downloaded so much.

Try:
1. Uploading your Own Stuff (library's often have CDS), I also find that every so often a torrent is deleted, but someone hasn't reuped it, so I will.
2. Seeding stuff that you have from other places that is also on OiNK
3. Sorting by seeders, make sure its popular, but also is leeched fairly often. But that is only going to hurt your ratio.

There is no shortcut. Stop downloading and wait. Eventually you'll seed back but it can take a while.

Oink is better than other torrent sites because it enforces those rules. If it were the same as the other sites, you'd just go to another site, right?

Seed all torrents you download all the time... it takes a while, but eventually you will start to build a good ratio.

well i agree that oink is prolly the best but thats because they have had files files that i havent seen anywhere else. they also have alot of seeders which means really fast downloads.

demonoid has a way higher ratio requirement and i have never had a problem keeping my ratio way above 1.0. i think its even been as high as 11 at one point.
