Contamination?

OK, do these sound like contaminated cakes:

First cakes have white foam all over the tops, real fluffy, looks like saliva almost. When I push down on the fluff my finger gets wet. Is that contam or just water getting on my cakes?

Second set, looked like pins on the cake, reddish-amber colored dots on them. When poked the dots are more like a drop of honey or jelly. Same question, is it contam?

thats a good way to contaminate them.

and the red dot will grow don't fuck with them.

THe white is probably just excess water on the mycelium. Either your RH is too high or water is dripping from the top of the terrarium onto the cakes, or both... I'd look into that. The red dots are pins, but they shouldn't be so fragile. Sounds like rot because of the excess moisture. You might want to take a piece of tissue or paper towel and GENTLY soak up the excess water from the cakes. Make sure your hands are clean when you do this.
