I love being able to breathe. Anyone still smokin cigs reading this, let me tell u I feel great just from one day down. Truthfully I thought it would be alot different even though i am not a weak willed person but i really have no addiction i guess, all in ur head right! Anyway, does o\anyone know if my lungs will regain they're normal capacity?

I started running a while ago, I can breathe easier now. I still smoke but I'm gonna cut that out soon.

The human body has an incredible way of healing itself, I say your lungs will someday be back to good. Congrats on quitting!
If I were you, I would start supplementing with Chlorella and Spirulina to help detox... check out www.chlorellafactor.com, especially http://www.chlorellafactor.com/chlorella-spirulina-28.html

yeah, i used to smoke menthols to. it was nasty waking up every morning with shit all in my throat. But, I wont say never, but for now i am not giving up pot. I really just dont want too. Has anyone went through somthing similar in which they quit tobacco and not pot, but used physical workout to get through it?

try belly breathing to distribute vital oxygen to all areas of the lungs. it will help you run longer and your body will love you for it.
keep it up.

sure. just place your hands on your navel and relax your shoulders.
inhale through your nose and feel your lower abdomen expand at the navel area (below and around it) so that it bulges outward.
keeping your chest relaxed, exhale with some force to pull the lower abdomen back in. that is all.
we are often conditioned to breathe through the upper chest which doesn't really allow one's lungs to fully expand. belly breathing or deep breathing is the full breath and it is also the way newborns breathe when they first enter this world.

get a mason jar and throw in all the money you would've previously spent on buying cigarettes. cash out when full.
