question about BitComet.

if you click on peers in the lower right window...and it shows all the ip addresses....

well the columns where it says download and upload....

does the download column mean what they are downloading from me or what i've downloaded from them.

i want to ban the fuckers that are downloading from me but not uploading anything...especially the ones that have almost the entire torrent.

i don't think it's downloaded and uploaded from you specifically. i'm pretty sure it means that's the total amount they've dloaded/uploaded from everyone in their use of the torrent.

whatev... don't worry about it. just be a decent uploader yourself, and be patient. you'll get the shit either way.

www.utorrent.com , much better (read as: best) torrent program, give it a shot.

i disagree. i use both utorrent and bitcomet, and get much better speeds (both dloads and uploads) with less hassle when using bitcomet. the only reason why i even bother with utorrent is because oink doesn't allow bitcomet as a client.

The bitcomet guys released a shoddy build awhile back that enabled people to falsely report ratios to get better speeds. I prefer uTorrent myself.
