casing too dry? (Pic)

Yay my first flush. (after 7 months of contamination) I was wondering if the casing is to dry. I don?t understand why it is drying out, the humidity is at like 80-90.

the casing on the right looks like it's "overlaying" ( pulling away from sides )

Yep they look dry, and its sometimes hard to tell from a pic. Cant you make an accurate judgement? I mean, you see it first hand.

Is that coir? If so, coir drys out very fast. When a casing of any material is getting dry, go ahead and mist it. Moisture is key, in both substrate and casing layer.

That dont look like its overlaying at all. Casings tend to pull away from the sides before a flush. Yes overlay can cause this too, as well as a dry casing. But it dont look like you have overlay

It does not look dry. I would touch a section that has not had any break through and if it feels dry then its dry. If its moist then its moist. No worries. Also I don't think there has been enough time to get dry. If it is dry. Indirect misting works for me. VERY LIGHTLY though. I just checked your RH--you DO NEED to RAISE it bit. At least to 90 constant.

First, there is not enough mycelium-which tells me the fun has just begun
second-perlite-that will keep it very humid-Mist your perlite.

Good luck-you are doing good!

Be patient and leave it alone. Btw pick those shrooms NOW!
