"in times of widespread chaos and confusion, it has been the duty of more advanced human beings - artists, scientists, clowns, and philosophers - to create order. In such times as ours however, when there is too much order, too much m management, too much programming and control, it becomes the duty of superior men and women and women to fling their favorite monkey wrenches into the machinery. I couldn't believe it was silverchair when I heard it.  I don't like that new album at all.  They only had one album that I liked, and I was fourteen at the time.

Young Modern, which....well, WOW.....i >thoroughly< enjoyed Diorama (it did take time for it to grow on me).....but this new one....it's very well-composed...of crap....i mean, yeh, Daniel Johns and the other 2, are very talented and versatile obviously...but they should ditch Paul Mac, or at least not let him have so much influence on their music....this came as a very hard blow and a huge disappointment...it's almost like a relationship ending....at least they used to rock:sad:

silverchair used to be one of my fav bands. im not really diggin this new album. neon ballroom and freak show were my favorites. some good trks on diorama but yeah not as much into this album. anyway, cool you like it.

and kevsa, paul mac didnt have that much influence. daniel johns just changed a lot over the years and he controls most of the music.

Wow I haven't listened to Silver chair, forever. In fact the CD's "somewhere hidden in my room. neon ballroom is badass, also "miss you love" or 'make it up to you in the year 2000"

do you understand grunge, son? Freakshow was heavier. As well as more produced. Frogstomp sounded as if it came straight out of someone's garage.

eerrmmmm

isn't that the whole point of grunge? to sound like it did come from someone's garage... and if i remember right, weren't they only like 15/16 years old when they released frogstomp?
