inappropriate rules in ethnobotanical garden forum

Under this rule, I can be banned for mentioning a company that sells gardening supplies.

I understand why this rule was made, it was made to stop people talking about vendors selling marijuana seeds, dried cactus skins, peyote and various trichs intended for consumption for their mescaline content.

However, it makes no sense to punish people for simply asking questions about a vendor that DOES NOT SELL ANYTHING PSYCHOACTIVE and does not sell anything similar to a shroomery sponsor.

I really think this rule goes against the spirit of this community. It makes no sense at all for me to recieve warnings for talking about a vendor that sells lithops or welwitschia, which I am a collector of.

These plants are not illegal, they are not psychoactive. A vendor that sells these products is of no risk to this community and does not compete with any other vendor of this site.

I also object to the deletion of threads without warning or explanation, which is what happened with my thread about a vendor that does not sell any psychoactive plants and does not sell the same plants as shroomery sponsors.

I really think this needs to be looked into, as I'm sorry I am just going to go to a different place to get my information if this website is eager to punish anyone with any questions regarding perfectly legal inactive plants and vegetables.

dont be such a cry baby.
u can ask about plants and vegatables or wotever plant u wish, without the need to discuss vendors.

It's just to avoid the garden to become filled with threads asking where to find this and where to find that. And to avoid such requests to derail threads.
There has been days where half of the threads in there has been that kind of threads.
