This vine grew completely vertical 12 feet to grab some fishing line hanging from a wind chime. How is this possible?

Kudzu is pretty fucking nuts.
Its been known to overgrow sleeping or slow-moving livestock.
Seriously.
They curl up on their little cow or sheep legs for a nappy-poo, and wake up in the morning viciously entangled in big fat vines of kudzu.
True story, that.
