The first one is a bit meh, but is needed for the second one to kick ass.

Its an epic trilogy.

If you want a quick fix gangster film, goodfellas is probably more up your street :grin:

The Godfather is the greatest film of all time.

Maybe something like "Snatch" is more your level

Amen. Attention span required, but fantastic movie. Godfather 2 is just as good if not better, 3 is pure shite.

Oh that's what that was... I thought it was an earthquake carrying a flashlight smashing up the windows. - Worst effects ever.

All the new actors are overplaid, cheesy crap. Even Pacino is unrecognisable. At least his daughter is hot.

That's what's good about the first one. Al Pacino's tranformation from the beginning of the movie to the end - Best performance ever.

The first one is a classic. The second one is so dark and meandering I can't sit through it. Can't these people afford any fucking lamps? :crankey: I can't see shit in here!

The third one is not great, but Garcia and Mantegna are fun to watch. It's still better than a lot of the dreck out there.
