Script wise, the godfather, fun wise tho, goodfellas..

It's like saying would u rather stay home and read a book, or go out drinking with ur buddies?.. itd would depend on teh current mood, and based on my current mood, I'd say goodfellas..

Godfather is a much better movie imo. Cinematically it's just much better thought out. Better usage of tension and dialogue too. Both are great movies though.

Godfather is drawn out.

Goodfellas is to the point, funny, and you take it for what it is. Casino was fantastic as well, id consider it more enjoyable than the godfather too.

Maybe godfather was technically "better," but scorseses gangster movies were far more enjoyable

Yall are buggin! Goodfellas is great but godfather is written much better. And the atmosphere is more fitting in my opinion. It is slightly drawn out i give you that.

Both movies show how fucked up things can get.

Honestly if the witness got axed in Goodfellows as others in the movie did it would be more true.

But they weren't even in the mafia in that movie.  They were outsiders doing there own thing.
