So Im Watching Goodfellas

And it makes me want to be a gangster. Why should I have to live the 9 to 5 life they despised? I could do it, I understand, I could hustle. Its like a training manual. Things are basically the same as they were back then, "the more things change, the more they stay the same". Id have to start from the bottom, no doubt, but at least I wouldnt be stuck living in the 9 to 5 dulldrum.
Basically what I took away from the movie was "this is what we have". If you want what we got this is what we did and you could do it too.
Maybe Im too high.

im in school studying to do what i want to do...i will enjoy it and hopefully not feel like i am working.  gangsters these days are not like gangsters of that movie.  the ones that are, are in or close to the few families that still remain.  good luck with that tho it would be awesome!

Yeah,, I looked up the characters and Henry hill, the main character, died last month. How cool would it have been to seen your own life in that movie. I havent really looked, Im more of a video gamer than a reader but I hope jimmy burke at least published an autobiography. He was alive long enough after the movie came out to publish.

Watch and learn. Its almost like Henry Hill is displaying his entire life in all honesty. And if you wanted that life you could study it and recreate it. I am pretty fucked up right now though.
