Hey everyone
-This friday my friends and I are going camping and we are going to shroom for the first time. We are going to have one person who has tripped before, but the rest of us are new to shrooms. I was wondering what kind of fun toys we should bring for it? I got these really cool prismatic glasses, and I'm a writer so I'll definately have a notebool, but what else would be cool? Music is set because another person who is going is going to spin while we are there (it's a pretty good sized camping trip and ppl bring tables up and spin under a tent) plus if we don't dig that or want to move, I'm bringing a smaller radio w/cd player too. Any other cool ideas??? Thanks!!

you might want to bring some glow sticks. But yea, like RebelSteve said, the woods are all you're gonna need =)
Personally, I would bring a backpack with some fresh fruit, a bottle of water, a portable cd player with some very encompassing headphones, and a small sack of marijuana and a bowl (perhaps one of those protopipes with the built in poker and storage compartment). I'd throw a couple of blue/green glow sticks in my back too, as well as 3 packs of smokes (i have a tendency to take two puffs off of a cig and throwing it away when im trippin).
oh yea, have fun man!

yup trees, clouds, the moon, etc. are gunna be all u need. I used to pack toys and shit until i realized i never use them, instead i talk to trees

Just remember when tripping and camping: Fire is ALWAYS real.
I agree about tripping outside...at least on acid nature took on a whole new face for me...especially day tripping. I loved watching the campfire crystalize and such while tripping on lsd. I look forward to tripping outside on shrooms soon. Especially at night in the back yard...surrounded by nothing but fields and meadows. 3 more weeks til I move...can't wait.

hey! have fun this weekend! I too am goin into the forest to a cabin to trip this weekend. i feel a little unprepared as of yet because i don't know much about the setting. but i'm sure i will bring my cdplayer w/ headphones, my digi camera... hey that reminds me i should try and find my glasses like yours... any musical instruments? like a drum or an acoustic guitar? maybe bring some markers along with your notebook, you might see a flower you want to draw. um flashlights, glowsticks is a good idea, as well as buds. have fun, be safe
its good someone is goin with you whose tripped before. alone in the woods with a group full of confused wandering people wouldn't be good. now youll have a guide, and make sure you always know where you are in relation to the camp site!

Goddess: Another thing I liked to do while day tripping, on acid mind you, at a park would be to find either a brook/creek or a stream and just sit on the bank for a while and watch the natural fractals/patterns in the water surface/reflections. If you're really lucky you'll see animals like chipmunks/squirrels/rabbits and such sneakin a quick drink.
I too will be shrooming this weekend...some buddies are coming out for a shroom party (also my going away party). It'll be my first time tripping on shrooms (I've tried cubes 3 times in the past and never tripped off them...so if I don't trip off 4 grams of freshly preserved shrooms...I'm giving up) and hopefully very rewarding. The friends that are joining me are literally the peeps responsible for teaching me how to trip on LSD and converted me into Goa culture. It's only good Karma that I in turn will have my first trip with them waiting for me on "the other side"

Thanks for everyone's advice!!! Luckily the river ideas are totally possible as I forgot to mention that this is also a canoe trip and our campsite is like a little peninsula so there will be a river all around me!! The only thing I am worried about is I've been hearing about possible scattered thunderstorms for that night. Do you think that will help or hurt?

That all depends on how you react to thunderstorms while you're sober. I personally loved sitting out on the porch tripping on LSD during a thunderstorm...ligthning is gorgeous that way. Plus it's just a "magical" experience to watch Nature happen while tripping. You may want to consider camping further inland if it's gonna storm...don't need a flash flood to ruin your adventures.

We kinda have no choice to camp farther inland. There are going to be over 200 ppl there (all friends and family and all very "drug friendly". I'll actually prolly have a lot more guides than just my friends who are trippin with me.) But we are kinda higher banked and we have been camping there for 25 yrs and we've never had a flooding problem. I live in Michigan, NOTHING floods here!! I am so excited!! I'm leaving in 3 days and I want to be up there NOW  !!! I was also thinking of making my tent kinda a getaway place if I need to go chill for a min. What do you guys think about that plan and what should I put in there?? I of course am going to have pillows and blankets, maybe a radio in there.

Having your tent as a chill out area is a GOOD idea. Tell everyone before starting the tripping that you may venture off into your tent to chill out, and try not to disturb you too much. All you'd really need in there is your bed, blankets and a pillow and some music. Try hanging a glowstick or two from the roof as well, it gives the tent a nice glow I'm kinda jealous of you LOL I love camping trips!

Bring what you will need to be comfortable while at play and while at rest. Fireworks I'd say no to, though the simple experience of sitting near the fire will be amazing for you. Swimming is also divine, though I'd recommend NOT doing it alone... have friends with you, even if you have all ingested.
I will be on a camping trip this weekend as well, in Central Virginia.. caving, hiking, and camping.... I cannot wait. Have fun!

I'm working all weekend! Ahhh! I got a bunch of shrooms.. and I've already consumed a bit but had a rather dull trip... I really want to do them again.. but I'm going to continue to keep refraining until the moment is perfect.. I know it will be worth it. That moment will have nature interwined in it somehow.. there is nothing better.
