my first cannabis plant flowers, please look and give tips

Hi there
this year I grew a marijuana plant for the first time, from a seed. It is a bit amateurish, only weak sunlight and water in a very small pot. The plant grew skinny and 1,30 meters tall, but it is a girl and now has begun to flower. But i worry whether it is in good health, the lower leafs fall all the time.
Can I do something to get a better harvest now that it is already in early flowering stage ? Should I move (finally, after postpoining several months) into a pot with more soil, or use fertilizer, or best just leave the plant alone and hope that the few weed it will create will still be good?
Please say what u think of this plant.

thanks for the advice

Heya
I had a plant growing on my windowsill and balcony a few years back and when it started to flower I moved it to a closet and acquired decent growlight (250W SPNA). The plant ended up yielding around 50 grams of quite potent buds
To be honest your plant looks quite lanky and thin compared to mine when I moved it, but a bigger pot (you fail to mention the size of your pot, but lets assume its SMALL), decent lighting and some flower period fertilizer COULD do wonders even at this late stage. If you haven't fertilized it at all during growth the small pot propably has run out of nutrients and that keeps plant from growing (at all) and losing leaves. Getting all that growing gear WILL pay itself back later, propably not on this plant, but on later ones IF you are going to grow more

Put it in a bigger pot and give it more light. It can recover.

Thanks for the advice. I have put it in a bigger pot already. I don'T want to use fertilizer. Good light will be problematic, since i don'T want to buy some energy intensive light setup, and the natural sun is pretty weak in Northern Europe right now. My goal is not to get a miracle harvest, but to have enoiugh for several joints and feel glad it is my own, as an experiment.
I will wait a few days to see whether the more fresh soil will improve it.

Fresh unused soil should refresh it as the soils you can buy contain nutrients, I would consider buying a fertilizer aswell as they are pretty cheap (a few euros for a small bottle that will be sufficient).
Depending on how north you are (most likely not norther than I) the direct sunlight could or should or might be enough.. Not for very long tho..
I'm pretty sure you will get to enjoy smoking your homegrown for at least few joints with that bush !

See how the leaf is curling, I think this means its lacking something. I don't grow MJ so I don't really know much but it looks weak, I would say bigger pot, better soil, and more sun? Your plant is not dieing though, just looks small and brittle. Looks like once the bud gets big it will fall over.

Yeah, I think you are correct. More light is definitely needed, that one is stretching like mad.

ram horns curling means nutrient lockout from salt buildup??? nute burn???? I know it is one of them. what I would do is flush the soil bigtime and then add nutes at about 600 to 700 ppm. make sure the ph of final solution is at 6

i once read that Mj is sensitive to light. It shouldn't be placed more than 11 hours in the light. I would consider making your own fertilizer for your plant. There are several books that you can buy. I personally add 1 1/2 cup of vermiculite. 2 tbl spoons of Dawn dish soap (blue color), and 1 can of Milwaukee's best. It helps allot if you add Potash, Nitrogen, and Hydrogen. This is what i use in my personal garden. Look more into it and read. READ READ READ that is all i have for you

Bullshit.
They go into flower in anything less than 12 hours(and in 12h) so they must be in much more the entire time they are vegging. Most people I know that grows use 24h of light/day for their plants during veg. 12h during flower is standard.
Weed loves light and this plant has gotten to little.
gotmagog : do not take the advice of mrc. get some professional weed fertilizers off the net, I suggest one that is buffeted to the correct pH.

It needs more light and more nutrients. Yellow wilting leaves are usually a sign of nitrogen deficiency.
