ugly cacti

ok here it is. it is a Tershekii grafted to a Pilocereus Azureus and they were despined to make the grafting easier......

think there will be any advantage to be gained over keeping it on its own roots?
ive never grown a pilocereus azureus so i have no idea of its growth rate.

they grow mad fast. like a Trich.
I will snap some pics of it next to one of my bigger Tersheckii's and update every so often to compare growth rates.

heres a pic of a few of the Aureus I have. Down towards the bottom you can see the line of how big they were when I got them. they grew about a foot in a year......

I got more grafts though but you can see why I despined the one......

hell yeah, those certainly need despining for grafting...
how did u hold the ones that u didnt despine to the stock?
