Glass on Glass on Glass Diffuser

So today I bought this ash catcher for my water pipe.

The only problem was the male side on the PHX ash catcher was larger than the female part of my diffuser.

The diffuser has a large male piece, aswell as the bong, and then has a smaller female.

So instead of buying a new diffuser, possibly a phx one with 2 of the same larger size connections, i decided to get a map gas torch out and try to cut my downstem and put it on the end of the ash catchers male connection.

Wow, what a stupid idea. I pretty much broke everythign except the bong itself.

I removed what i attempted from the ash catcher, and tried to make it fit again. There is only a little piece of glass at the tip causing it not to fit, so i will try to fix it. =[

Does anyone know where I can source a phx, or similar style diffuser online? One with the same size male and female dusted glass connectors..


What a way to start a three day weekend. . .

I spent money I didn't really have on something that did not fit, and instead of thinking, I decided to not only break it, but break some other stuff aswell! AWSOME! :smile:

But im not stressing, i have backup. Just wish things were easier to find on the internet.
