glass as a carry on (flight question)?

I am bringing some glassware back with me on a domestic flight. to be more specific it is a new downstem, ash catcher, and bowl. all have never been used and are still wrapped up from when I bought them from the headshop. I won't run into any complications by having these in my carry-on bag will I?

there is nothing they can do if nothing illegal has been put in it. But they will obviously know what up.

It's not paraphernalia until you actually smoke pot out of it right? Or its turns illegal when you smoke pot from it? So a brand new piece would be OK? Hmm

just in case get some pipe tobacco and keep it with it. Make sure it's sealed and clearly marked as tobacco, though.

There's a major city in my home state, that will not let you buy papers without buying tobacco. Total bullshit!

im a blower and have run into this several times with people i sell to
i would definately agree with cow gold, bring the glass with pipe tobacco or even pack the bowl, but dont hit it, itl leave a nasty taste in your pipe for a long long time.

This doesn't really relate to the glass on a plane question...but in Ohio (not sure about other states), if you have rolling papers but no tobacco it is considered paraphernalia. And a pack of smokes (camel, Parliament, etc.) doesn't count, it has to be some rolling tobacco (top, drum, etc.) I think that is pretty fucked up.

my legal friend[18+] got searched for just papers in florida. he took it to court even though he didn't get busted with anything. the cop basically forced it on him and he thought it was unlawful because he was under the impression he was okay with only papers.
judge went in the cops favor. i guess that's what rich people do.. fight things that never really hurt them.
^he got pulled over btw and they were just laying there, didn't realize they were in plain view
