libs in michigan?

what are the chances that you would stumble upon some libs in michigan? i've read that they mostly grow in the PNW but i guess there are reports of finding them in Quebec. so if they are that widespread than i am sure that there is some substantial chance that you could find some here right?

i really wish they did, ben hunting mich for years with no luck of the 5-7 active species that supportively do grow here.

i have a friend who lives in spruce and owns a horse. there are tons of what look like  Psilocybe silvatica growing in the pasture but ive never taken a spore print, every time i go over there it has been dry for weeks. i will be checking after this weekend though due to the rain over the past 2 days.

i know these are not poisonus because after i told him not to he ate a gram of them with no ill effects (he is a dumb ass). he didnt trip but he said they were relaxing so we have to see.:shrug:

yeah the rain has been INSANE in MI (close to ohio)....3 days in a row not to mentions todays storm that ripped trees all over!. it was sooo awesome to watch tho....i THOUGHT i found some as well in a golf corse at least it looked like them they had a goofy smellrather strong the bag still smells like it after they dried up (a week ago)and disapeared...i had some sort of lib
