Flipping/Turning PF-style Jars???

I have 8 jars going right now, for my first try at growing mushrooms. The Jars are almost done. They are all "BALL" brand Wide-mouth 1/2 pint BRF jars.

What results have you guys/girls gotten from flipping your jars near the end, to speed-up colonization of the bottom? ???

And should i flip them and then return them to their original oreintation?? or flip them onto their lids and keep them that way until they are done????

Ive gotten great results. When I flip em the mycelium grows really thick on the bottom of my jars (top...being flipped) and when I birth em I get many many fruits off that thick mycelium. Ide flip them and keep them there untill they are 100% colonized, then take em out. Good luck.

I always seem to get growth from the bottom up, using syringes that is. I innoculate with the needle against the side of the jar and can usually watch the spore solution trickle run all the way down. I have flipped jars I've innoculated with tissue and it helped a bunch. IME if I let them set to long with uncolonized areas at the bottom I let bacteria have to much of a chance.

I just birthed a cake that took about a month for the bottom to colonize, I think youll be allright.
