 PF style= bunk shrooms, twice!!! Help...

I'm new to this but i've grown two batches of Pf style shrooms and havent got anything from them. The spores for the first batch were from a local store(no idea what strain), and they grew successfully but they were bunk. Next i ordered some psilocybe cubensis (puerto rican) from the net, they grew fine but still im getting little or no results when consumed. Any ideas as to why this happened, is it me, or the shrooms, or the style in which im growing them. (standard Pf style)...Please help!

Oh yea....when we took them they were freshly picked, and eaten while still wet, could that have anything to do with my problem. Damn i feel cheated!!!!!

So many ways shrooms can go wrong.
i wonder, how much wet did you eat- it would have had to have been like 30 to forty grams, to get the same effect as dry-
also, if you waited till they dropped their spores, this decreases potency greatly.
Try again, first few times are learning experiences.
Check out another tech next time. & good luck.

2 grams..there about. eyeballed it. sooo dry is better than wet? On erowid i think they say wet is better...i hope im wrong to be honest....thx man, i guess i'll drythem out nxt time. Oh yea im gonna pick them right as the veil breaks.

man i just checked my terrainum, theres like 100 medium size shrroms in there! hahahahaha......

if mushrooms are dry they are 10% of what they were wet.
so eating 20 grams wet is about 2 grams dry
you ate 2 grams wet, NO WHERE NEAR enough. You should eat about 20 grams wet for a mild-normal experiance.

wrong. you can let the mushroom mature as long as you want but psilobin production stops when the mushroom produces spores. if you have an albino shroom growing then you can allow the thing to grow for a very long time because they are sterile and will produce psilobin till you pick it (or it dies and rots)

Oh, thanks for the correction. That's how bad info gets spread.
I was told here that after a shroom drops spores, i.e, matures, it will continue to grow, but it will not continue to get potent. So, theoretically, it can get as big as a baseall, but be very weak. So getting them when they are young'uns is better , quality wise. Again, this is what I read in here.
So, should a home cultivator pick pre-veil break, or after.
Please let me know.

Ye gods, I would not attempt that much.
I'm sort of an accidental tourist, as it were. I low dose infrequently, and still the effects are very strong.
i think I'm too much of a pussy to do 5 grms.
3.5 usually has me plastered to a soft surface, drooling like a baby.
I wish I had some shroom'in freinds, so I could attempt that with expereinced company. No one I know shrooms.
Woe is me.

There is nothing wrong with the PF tek probably the most reliable. I also find dry weights more acurate see how to dose on the front page and dosage calculater
also how hard to trip.

I have had great times with wet mushrooms and dry if you ate 2 grams wet that wouldnt even do anything you need to consume a lot I stoped wieghing out my trips I just start eating and tell myself when to stop.
