Grow Lamp Setup help

I was wondering if anyone has successfully used a homemade hydroponic system to grow mj?

I am also wondering if there are light setups you can acquire from the local home improvement store, I noticed one said home improvement store sells 400w HPS bulbs, but they do not have the ballasts for these, also they are to hot.

What would be a smaller light that would be perfect for just 1 or 2 plants that I could purchase from the local gardening store?

Also, If i vegged a plant for just a month could I think go into budding with the 12/12 cycle

uhhhh.. wouldnt it be easier to search.. its pot dude, I think someone might have wrote a book on it once..
and your from bloody california, as your neighbor hes probley a pro.
the light you want is a 400hps.. less than that and your getting to much heat for the usable light.

or just go ghetto and use compact floros

Econolight ? search that maybe?

DWC?

Bubbler?

Maybe just get a timer and do an Ebb + Flow

It has been answered before, maybe just not with your letters??

I recommend Marijuana Horticulture: The Indoor/Outdoor Medical Grower's Bible

and his dvd is pretty good

If you know where to look there are places to get these things "on the cheap"
