We deserve some security, especially since its summer and Ythan likes to get in his old thong. Besides protection from pics of him, we should have secure login, and secure pms.

QFT, although you need a supporter account to use these features.

You don't need a supporter account to use secure login or PMs. Logins have used SSL by default for a while now, for all users. Encrypted PMs were never a supporters-only feature, in fact they were introduced before we even had supporter accounts. Another security feature which used to be supporters-only is the ability to block offsite images or load them through Coral Cache, that was also made available to all users a while ago. And of course you can do all your browsing through SSL for a low monthly fee. I don't know what Irishdrunk is talking about I think we have pretty good security.

And yet you refuse to address the matter of the thong. I see how it is.

well b4 i had a supporter account, the "browse the shroomery using a secure connection" check box was gray, and it had blue next to it saying that it was a supporter's only feature.
as for the encrypted messages, i didn't even see that until the points system came out.

How come when I sent an encrypted pm the reciever said they could not read it?
They said it looked like a bunch of jarbled letters to them and they did not have an encryption key.
Wha-? Why? How?

Because it was encrypted. That is what encryption does... if the receiver of the encrypted PM were to decrypt the message...

yeah dude, the receiver of said encrypted message must have his personal key to type in in order to decrypt said message.
