Okay... I've just spent about a half hour on Richardsimmons.com and I've been watching videos of his and looking at pictures of him for quite a while now. And for some strange reason I find this man utterly fascinating. Like almost hypnotic. It's like he's a living joke but he's so into it that it's beautiful for some reason. I mean here's a guy in the shortest shorts available with dolphins on them and a tank top with little plastic jewelry glued on the front with a weird high pitched voice and bunch of body hair leading fat old women exercise. Kind of like a braveheart for middle aged morbidly obese. But like how is that even taken seriously? I mean... come on... dude... he's like crazy. But people eat this shit up and he's a multi-millionaire and his website charges $20 just to become a member (And honestly after about a half hour on his website, I'm considering paying $20 to be Richard Simmon's Member) but it's like the strangest joke/performance artist I've ever seen. This whole Richard Simmons fetish I'm in right now started because he was making fun of himself on the Larry Sanders show... and remember that one time he non-consensually force his tongue down Roseanne's throat? Yeah I watch daytime TV wanna fight about it? And for some reason people take him seriously... I mean...
