I thought it was no better or worse than the first.... didn't see the second.

That whole series is a bit too humorless for me.

The shaking camera drives me nuts too. Even in the scenes where people are just talking... WTF is it shaking for?

the chase scene was so long, with the scooters... they made that movie so fucking stupid, Tarantino... we need you to make another action film!

It was way better than the second one, but still not that great. The shaky cam annoys the fuck out of me too.

The whole movie trilogy was such a one-trick pony though. Why did they change it so much from the books?

I loved it. Especially the straight-up-no-bullshit-special-effects-no-emotional-music fight scene in Italy. Just two dudes going at it with a camera filming it. And I think the shakey camera adds to the "realism" of the movie.

Also, I think that Paul Greengrass, the director, began his career making documentaries, which explains his preference for "shaky-cam". Soderberg uses it all the time as well.

yes realism, something i feel hollywood is lacking nowadays.

oh and the filming locations.. Madrid, New York, Paris, London, Tangiers, Riga.. :thumbup: :thumbup:

realism... its a movie, the movie is unrealistic, they added enough with the sound, I don't think it was a good move to give me a stomach ache

nearly every movie is unrealistic if you analyze it deeply; and some movies are more realistic than others..
