Just about any mushrooms in the garden will help the vegetables. Fungi and plants eat different foods, and each can benefit the other.

hmm, they also mention that plain oyster mushrooms did not boost the growth etc. the contrary was in fact the case.
It also said that the elm oyster did boost some vegetables considerably...but not everything...so I'd like to know wich ones...

thanks RR for the reply but I'm looking for some more detailed info...

In the book it talks about the fact that this is relatively new, and that they only tried a few species out with a few other veggies...it calls for people like us to step up, and contribute to the literature as there really is none to speak of yet.

You can go here, and try to contact Mark Jones, it looks like he may have some of the knowledge you seek;

Here's a thread over at mycotopia -

And that's about all I could find for you so far...not much out there yet.

thank you Jeremy!

indeed there doesn't seem to be much out there...I'm going to start experimenting myself with the information I have...and post my results here.

I'll contact mr. Stamets himself, maybe he can put me in contact with the people who did the experiment....
