What's going on with my Elm Oysters?

I'm conducting an experiment with elm oysters on Cracked Corn.



I've never done Elms before, but I don't think this is normal for them.

My guess is CO2 is way too high.

Is this normal or not, and if not what's causing it?

"Corel" formation is generally a sign of CO2 levels being too high....although I'm pretty sure that excessive heat and humidity can factor.

Try getting some better air exchange...I've also been known to carefully pick off clorets of corel if they remain that way as they tend to get water clogged and turn bad, but I'd wait and see how it looks in a few days first.
