Elm oysters... Does this look right?
    #2313110 -

Should they be this long and skinny considering that they are not in a terrarium or anything.

Just a small room with me in it most of the time. Could I be putting of enough CO2 to cause elongated growth?

This is about 3 days worth of growth.

The last batch I grew looked more like these:

I would love to have some H. Tessulatus. I've got Pleurotis djamor, citrinopilus, pulmonarius, and I think ostreatus.

I thought the burlap sack was a nice touch. I pasteurized it right in the bag. This was strictly a lime pasteurization. There were two bags initially, but the first one contamed. It had nearly twice as much straw and the same amount of spawn.

Have you found some Hypsizygus tessulatus yet. If not I have some on agar and am interested in one of the colored oysters for trade.
