I've seen stores up here in AK kick people out for saying bong, but I frequent the two I go to commonly enough I could tell the guy I need the biggest blunt wrap he has so I can get a whole crowd baked and he'll hook it right up, he's a good guy he just doesn't want to get in trouble letting the wrong people hear the wrong things.

OMR there's a place in the village that has some freebase pipes. I know that tells you a whole lot, seeing how there's about a million headshops in the village. I can't remember for the life of me what it's called.

I'll work on finding that one out.

They make "crack pipes" specifically for Marijuana. There's the Shake 'n Vape, designed by Eagle Bill, a now-deceased vapoirizing connosouirre

I would reccomend agaisnt what deadheadjpc2000 posted because I bought one of those and when I inhaled, I ended up sucking leaf into my mouth. The Shake 'n Vape has a screen to prevent that; and the Bulb's mouth stem extends all the way to the back of the chamber, making it less likey for leaf to get sucked through it.

You can also just get a not-too-thick bong and put the weed in the water chamber and hold a flame under it.

so i went to muir woods to try and go comune with my red wood bretheren. but at the gate they said i could not go in because i had my bass with me. "no music in the park" they said.
so after a quick good bye to that shityness i just jumped over the fence over the river and up the ferny embankment and i was in the park. i hiked for a good mile up the side of a hill till  could no longer hear anyone. played m bass for a bit, relaxed listened to the wind and the creeking of the redwoods. i sat down but soon realised it was far too windy at the locaton i had chosen for conventinal freebasing. so, remembering what a good freind to the shroomery had once said about dmt and redwoods, i found a new spot in the middle of a ring or redwoods, also called a fairy ring :wink: :fairy:
i sat meditated for a mi or 2 then looked up some 200 feet to the very highest parts of the trees. after 2 good hits i was sarting to go, i could feel my body bleeding into everything else. my bass seemed to sprout ferns and redwood shoots. one more hit and the pipe morphed into a crazy perlesent syran wrap beast i barly was able to place it down befor i was cosumed by the big HUM. i diddnt really break through i was moving very fast but where i do not kow. i had the distinct feeling i might be in tha vascular system of a plant. i kept going up then eradicaly down then all around then up again. repeat repeat. eventualy i kinda opened my eyes and saw the monumental earth i live on. my hands still lacked definition. they felt like air, if that makes sense. i giggled slowly to myeslf and then slumped back into my seat with my head resting aginst the base of one of the trees. i played a little guitar, then, having forgon weed all day, had a nice come down bowl in my new bubbler. i sat there under that tree for over an hour, some times playing, some times listening.
i cant help shaking the feeling i could have gone farther, or that i could have hit the pipe one more time, or used more, or bla bla bla. but i know that that expereience was just what i needed. maybe later this week i will try a larger dose. but that truly was a holy burst. i feelz good :grin:

You don't have to go to headshops for a crack pipe. Just go to a gas station or convenience store. The seedier the surrounding area, the better. Don't expect to find any at the big chain gas stations like shell.

I went into this Indian dude's convenience store once, and I knew the guy had bowls. I ask him where the glass pipes are, and he pulls out a shotgun freebase pipe. I just stared for a second, and then promptly said "No..the..er...glass pipes for tobacco". Took the guy a minute to realize what I was driving at...

I'm pretty sure freebase pipes are illegal in New Zealand thanks to meth. Looks like if I ever get my hands on some DMT I'll be butchering a lightbulb :smirk:

The last time I was in Toronto, there was a headshop called Shanti Baba Trading Co or something.  They carried a lot collectibles and other artsy hippie items, but for the life of me I can't remember the pipe selection.  I must've been a little stoned and/or drunk.  The only way to be in Canada, of course!

You may want to check that place out when you're there for Beerfest.  I guarantee one of the shroomerites knows the place of which I speak.  Actually here's the addy found on a decal:  546 Queen Street West, TO.

It's realllly close to the Beerfest location, too  :alc:  :bigweed: :heart:

thats my guess too.

But I never understood the whole bong/water pipe argument. I've never even heard of the term water pipe until I started visiting head shops. To me the word bong refers to a certain type of pipe and not to what is smoked out of it.

Sounds awesome, man. Me and my lady are gonna be down in redwood land in a couple weeks. I was thinking about going inside the hollowed out one at the avenue of the giants in humboldt, and smoking some DMT inside of it. I think that would just be a trip.
