Brewers Bullpen Drunk Again, Cubs w/in 1/2 Game of Central Lead

God this is fun to watch.

The formerly unhittable Milwaukee Pen has blown 4 games in the 8th and 9th in recent memory and the Cubs are WHITE-HOT.

So many headlines from this game...

* Zambrano gets his Major League leading 14th Win.

* And 3 hits. So he's now batting w/in 9 points of .300

* Second HR in two days for D. Lee. If he's getting his home run stroke back, other clubs better watch out. He hit 50 two years ago. And Sori is hot, and Ramirez is hot, and DeRosa is hot and so on.

* Another good bull-pen showing. I cant believe this is the same group of guys we started the season with. The change is night/day.


This is just amazing. I'm actually confident watching a Cubs game lately. This Brewers club had a 12.5 game lead at one point, and its down to .5 games today. This is awesome. At this rate, we should win the division by 10 games.

They probably dont have any energy to play because to get CC is eating all of the team's food to get enough energy to pitch.

The Indians just dont have any huge threats in their lineup, IMO.. I mean sure you have Hafner, Sizemore, Victor, and Garko.. but none of those guys are a A-rod or an Ortiz.

I think Cleveland needs more fire power before becoming a contender.

I think their pitching is fine.. I mean Byrd is week and so is Westbrook, but they should be fine with Sabathia, Carmona, and Lee

Trading deadline is Tuesday at 3pm right? I wonder what moves will be made.

There has been word of Johnny Damon getting out of New York.. but Ive only heard this a couple of times and it didnt seem like the deal would actually go thru.

Although, now that I read some things it looks like Boston is really looking for someone.
