trust me man, I've lived in a city of 20,000 people for like half my life.
That was SHIT. It's big enough to be a 'city', but mall enough to have that small town mentality so that everyone knows each other. Seriusly, 20 000 people isn't that many.

Fuck that, for me it's either SMALL town (10-1000 people) or HUGE town (1m+) or total isolation (country side)

I'd much prefer the country side, like my parents house

Hmmm. Maybe theres some truth to that. I was a psychedelic fiend in my 20's. Spent the better part of ages 23-24 on LSD. Tripped regularly through my late 20's. I tripped on occasion through my 30's. I find the desire decreases for me each year. Next year I will turn 40 and I don't see myself tripping more then once or twice a year anymore. Its just not necessary now.

But I will always have to recharge the batteries once in a while...I'll never stop completely!

my own trips kind of got boring. i stopped learning things, and i became resistant to that sort of trippy excitement with whats going on around me.

i figure i'll wait till i think they'd do me some good again, i really like sobriety though.

P.S. i stopped learning things about how the physical world and myself functions. on my trips i started either becoming bored or being thrown into these hyperdimensional mindfucks. i worked with the mindfucks for a long time seeing where it would lead, but nothing magically good ever happened to me so i don't really see a point in it anymore.

i dont know, there've been periods when i used to trip once every week or two. i certainly dont trip that regularly anymore. thinking back i've tripped 6 times since this time last summer. i see myself doing less often lately, saving it for special occasions.
