well i think it's looks justify growing it, and it's not that hard to grow either.

Is kilp dagga more potent than wild dagga? I have tried smoking wild dagga that I bought at a head shop and I didn't really feel anything?

Definitely a cool looking plant though. I didn't know it was related to Bee Balm...

Klip dagga is more potent than wild dagga. I grow my own Klip dagga and even the leaves off this are much more potent than any vendor wild dagga flowers. I feel the freshness plays a part in the matter. I've yet to sample any klip dagga flowers since bugs keep eating the tops off my plants (still a little early anyway).

However, any dagga in its raw form is not very potent unless you smoke butloads. A joint or a couple bowls will give a nice mellow buzz, but not nearly as intense as compared to marijuana.

I've smoked some 50x resin extract off from homegrown plants before and that got me rather high. I actually was contemplating if the dude had laced it with hash oil, but it was definately the leonotis... I was stoned, but it was different, however quite comparable depending on the strain/quality of herb.

If anyone wants some leaf to try off my plants, just PM me. I'll dry some up and sell it for cheap. Hope any of this helps! Peace friends!

Yep Yep! ive tried fresh wild dagga and he fresh kils dagga (i just got it the other day) and it is wayyy better.

Yeah you do. Kanna is real nice, kava is ok, i dont erally like kraton but allot of people do. its just noy my type of feeling it reminds me too much of cocaine.

i don't get anything from klip dagga in raw form. tastes good but no feelings. i have many many flowers and leaves right now that are fresh (still picking) and i still dont feel much.....i think extracts are needed...

ps that pic is not Leonotis nepetifolia. wiki may be, it only shows the bud/flowers. the leaves at the very top of the plants by the flowers on Leonotis nepetifolia can look thin, but the lower main leaves are the shape of a weird diamond or spade or something. triangular and fat anyway.
