Air Conditioner + Hepa Filter

The Raccoon was eyeballing one of those window and/or wall mount air conditioner units, when he came to the realization that, it would be an easy task to add a Hepa filter to cover the interior front panel.

Meaning, anyone with a "grow room" could mount one, add a Hepa filter & resolve fresh air exchange problems w/filtered air, plus by turning the temp on the unit down -- cold shock the whole room at will, for however long one wanted.

Good idea, but keep in mind, the air conditioner will aslo suck all the humidity from the room too.

Air/Con unit would be blowing outside air into the room? Certainly, a drop in temp would affect a change in humidity. Just adjust the humidity after the cold shock w/misting unit in the room. SixTango

Awesome, i'll go out and buy one of those 300 dollar HEPA filters right away. No, wait...i just realized i make 8 bucks an hour. i can't even afford good toothpaste. Any suggestions on where i could go to ah...uh...appropriate a HEPA?

question: would one of those vacuum cleaner "HEPA"s from walmart work?
