About HEPA filters

Hi folks...
i'm going to buy an hepa filter from filtersrx.com, metal frame 99.99% efficiency.
the specifications of this filter says:
rated airflow (SCFM): 300
Initial resistance (W.G.): 1.0
so to use this filter in a LFH i need at least a blower with 300 cfm or i need/ i'm missing something else???

According to stamets the optimum air velocity coming from the filter is 100 feet per minute.
Your filter measures 1ft x 2 ft.
This means that you need a blower that delivers 200 cft/min(5,663 m^3/min) against a static pressure of 1 foot water gauge( that would be 30 mb)
Stamets also recomends using a slightly more powerfull blower, which speed you can adjust.

If you are going to built a glove box like thing to house your flter( with an opening in front, without thw gloves), then you will certainly need less speed.
