Just wanting to know if anyone had any vendor recommendations for a beginner?
I read the posts about Dr. Bluethumbs, and I thought that looked like a pretty good site and it obviously isnt,and i dont want to make a mistake and lose what little money i have. so if there is anyone with any helpful advice on where a good place is where i can get everything i need to begin my learning experiance please let me know!

I know they're controversial but I'm completely sold on http://www.thesporehaven.com/
Costwise, I think they're the lowest. They have a special of buy four at six bucks, get two free.
I ordered Sunday night at 10pm. On monday at 6:30 am I had an acknowledgment of my order (I'm not sure if that's standard practice).
Wednesday I received my package via priority mail.
Each syringe is individually packed. I'm impressed.
I can no attest to their quality since I just received them.
For far I give them four stars. Assuming the spores work, it doesn't get any better.
I have ordered from thehawkseye in the past. The quality from each syringe has been excellent. My only complaint is that it took over a month to receive them. Ryche did give my two free syringes though.

Also, check out Ralphster--his stuff is also excellent
You won't go wrong with either of these top vendors....

I just got my order from www.bluefairysupply.com very quickly and easily. He answered my e-mails quickly, accomodated my special request and sent my products promptly. He also included lots of extras with my order including the B+ 'Dimplehead'-new release. I don't know how he knew that was one of the ones I wanted, but I am thrilled. He has excellent mushrooms provided by Mr G.
I have recently received my second order from www.sporelab.com without a hitch. He has excellent mushrooms and the price is right. He is a Canadian vendor that has been around for a long time and is very reliable.

First of all,....Stay AWAY from STP!!!! (sporetradingpost)
I've heard of loads of people getting ripped off from that company. Actually their prices run up to $90 for a 10cc syringe. And in some prints they'll only give you 1/4 of a print. "So we can share this strain with world" ....BS MF!!!
To me the top suppliers of psilocybe mushrooms spores are:

They have been around for a while in the internet community. They have a nice variety of Cubensis strains in 10cc syringes and some nice sized prints as well. if the print is small, they usually include a couple of them. They also carry a couple of oyster mushroom cultures and some nice rare Exotics. They are as well, one of the few vendors (even worldwide) that sell Azurescens PRINTS. If you order spores from them you can rest asured that they are contamination free.
Their shipping times are pretty good and are constant, within 8-10 days. But the quality is what is most important. Very great company with a good reputation.
I don't know about those new myco and philosophers bags though.

Although not a massively advertized company. I've tried their spores and found them to be surprizingly some of the best that I've ever had. Their syringes are incredibly fat. 20ccs syringes with a very dark solution. The only website out there with 20cc syringes. ( All others are 10-12ccs.) They run from $12-$17. They have the largest selection of spores of any other web-site that I've seen or heard of. I think they have like 30+ species and strains of Cubensis and Exotics. I've been ordering from this company for quite some time now, and never had any problems with contamination. Their spores actually colonize super fast. Their prints are also big and very dark and clean. Shipping times are darn fast as well. About 4-7 days to receive. They also sell sterilized jars with different substrates for beginners with instructions. I believe they are the original company to come up with these for sale, about 2+ years ago.

Ryche Hawk. Definitely a Cubensis God. This man has the BEST pictures of the entire internet. Your mouth will drop and will not come back up for hours after viewing these pictures. You will see literally rooms full of mushrooms. It's almost like a dream. Hard to believe your eyes. In fact other websites use his pictures to describe their products (legally?? probably not) . I am a very happy customer of this web site. Ryche sells some very nice clean and dark prints along with 10cc syringes as well. I know his website and the pictures on it like the back of my hand.
Very nice selection of Cubies.
The only draw back is that the shipping times aren't that great sometimes, you have to place a very large order of $200+ to receive your stuff quickly, but other than that, a very great site with great pics, and quality spores. (worth the wait)

The Little Guy cant be beaten for quality of product and speed of shipping. Ive used him many times and always had my stuff in 2-3 days.

Hawkeyes.... great site for info, but im sorry, he has had way too many complaints to trust w/ my hard earned money
also, would say sporelab too. but the cap'n has lost any respect i may have had for him, after i read his posts in alt newsgroups..may or may not have good spores, but i dont deal with ummmmmmmm contraversial l ( in order to not get this reply deleted lol) peaple

I got some GREAT prints from lilshopofspores. My first try ay growing and have some nice PR's. Can't wait to try the Australian print they sent. Very quick delivery in the US!

when my neighbors cybernetic dog ordered spores from The Little Guy he recieved them promptly and also recieved a free Creeper syringe...although the free Creeper turned out to be inviable and bacteria grew all over my plates. otherwise ... a good vendor.

Thanks for the kind words DarkTranquility.... but what other vendors are using our pictures? We have not given anyone permission to use our pictures. If they are they are doing it dishonestly.

i will pm you with the batch number as soon as it is possible. the syringe isn't in the lab. it's at a friends house. i will ask him for the number as soon as i see him online or in person. sorry for delay.... it is possible that the contamination was my fault ...but i tend to think it was the syringe as nothing ever grew from that syringe and the plates just turned greasy and bacterial. i will send the number soon.
