It's a saturday on a long weekend people!

...let's celebrate :beer:

I could of gone for an awesome fishing and camping trip, but in trying to save money for my trip to Rush in a couple weeks, I declined.

All my friends are out of town for this long weekend.  My gf is out for the weekend as well for a karate special training thing.

I'm just filling my stomach up with some nourishment so I can bust into this case I bought.  I've never tried this beer before.  It's called "kold".  I'm going to be selling my big paradigms and I think I'm going to rock out by myself pretty hard tonight.  Really loud music, really loud electric guitar and a lot of beer.  I also bought the G3 dvd today for tonight.  A friend might come over after work at around midnight hopefully. 

What's all the canadians up to for the long weekend and what are all the others up to for this saturday night? :cool:

Canada day, which is equivalent to your indepence day, is celebrated on July 1st.  So this monday is the actual holiday.

Most people take off for the long weekend, but I'm stuck here and I'm going to make the best of it :grin:

well, I'm done nourshing my body.  I'm sitting back with a glass of milk and little bit after that I'm cracking into those damn beer!

I just ate some kratom & smoked a couple of bowls.  I think I'm gonna chill, watch Wimbledon, and maybe play some online poker this afternoon.  Looks like it's gonna be a good day. :stoned:

Nope I haven't. I watched the Departed last week and while I was "meh" on the movie on the whole, I thought he had really come into his own.

They are working on a sequel for the departed and mark walberg is going to play a more major character.

He was pretty good in that movie hey.

I find him even better in Blood Diamond.  You'll enjoy it very much :thumbup:

It's going alright up here I guess.  Pretty shitty weather and a lot of it lately.

the gf's pissing me off, so it's nice she's gone for the weekend.

they were digging up some of this highway and it's kind of a construction zone now.  And because they've taken a huge chunk of the cement off(they are repaving it from the ground up) the manhols were sticking up.  They didn't paint them or give any indication of this and I smoked one with my car(low clearance).  I fucked something up bad I think.

Oh that sucks man. Around here they do construction on pretty much the same roads every summer because all the salt during the winter destroys the roads (and cars), so dodging hidden protruding manholes is almost second nature.

I think I'm gonna go grab those brews now, happy Canada Day (even if I'm not Canadian) :cheers:

yeah same here.  Lots of salt.  The winters fuck the roads up bad so every spring and summer is spent fixing them.

I'm used to dodging potholes.  Ridiculous amounts of them though.  I hit a fucking last fall and bent my rim, fucked my tired and fucked my bearing up :mad2: 

I'm not used to dodging damn manholes though :lol:

what a great movie! I forgot about that one. I'm so renting that tomorrow.

He kind of regretted his titanic role because at that point he was trying to get out of the whole "young kid hearththrob" image. He said he regretted it for quite awhile afterwards, but admits it helped him...in the sense he could pick and choose his roles.

His career only went up from there.
