I used to not remember my dreams.

I haven't smoked in 2 weeks...now I remember them every morning.

Good night!

did you try a fresh battery? the shutter is the first thing to go when an SLR
battery dies and most of them post 1975 require either an N size or a couple of coin cells

yeah a 360. and to prisoner. i brought it into another camera store the other day and they tested the battery and it was fine, they even tried a diff battery.
but i'm about to go to a different camera store in a sec. but i'm pretty sure they're more ignorant about actual cameras.

What kind of camera is it? I think the older slr's are the ones that never die, but a lot of the newer dslr's have issues up the wazoo, especially once they've got a lot of shots on them. I haven't had any issues with my D70 yet, but I've read plenty of threads about bglod(blinking green light of death) and other issues going wrong, but its technology in general, its the price we gotta pay for this stuff I guess.

Hope you're able to find out whats causing the problem and get it all sorted out.

Nice photos, I love the color in those hills. Its been a long time since I went to the zoo(I live like 10 minutes out of Portland), I was probably 10 or so the last time I went.

My dslr can be as manual as any slr(and is how I use it), except its got some extra stuff that you gotta learn for the lcd display and all that, but I can definately understand not wanting to switch cameras when you're already so good and used to a certain type of camera/brand/setup/etc.

I don't really take enough pictures to really call it a hobby anymore, I think its cause I sort of lost interest after awhile. But I take some decent shots every once in awhile. Although I hate post processing in like photoshop or anything like that, its a pain in the ass. Okay, speaking of that, I take back what I said about the camera being as manual as any slr...its way worse, cause you've got to get your white balance right, and a bunch of other electro-gizmo gadget crap all setup correctly for the finished product to look like what you were looking at through the viewfinder. I've considered switching to film because of it, but like I said, I don't even take pictures that often anyways, and the cost of film and especially getting it processed is something I wouldn't look forward to. At least with the digital I can take a bunch of shots of the same thing if the shooting conditions are tricky, and then look at the lcd to check and see if its what I want. Saves me from missing a shot.

Anyways, sorry for rambling, I don't really have anything to do either, I've just been playing video games on the computer all night.
