Well from what I understand; karma boils down to cause and effect. You reap what you sow.

I've been observing it in life for the last month or so.. trying to get on top of it. I watch someone being a prick, and then I watch them reap the harvest of their cuntishness.

What gets me though; is when seemingly undeserving people (Although I'm not with them all the time so I'm not fully aware of their choices) end up getting stitched up.

Also way in which it works; Trying to predict what qualifies as a decent act and what qualifies as a shitty one.

Theres alot to consider on this topic.

Philosophy contributes absolutely nothing positive to one's existence. It just makes a person over-analyze things and it distracts you from happiness.

i have 0% depression in me and i fully enjoy philosophy. if anything, philosophy and psychology have made me a happier person. before i knew anything about either of them, if bad thoughts came, then i'd dwell on them and make myself more miserable. now i recognize them if they come, can realize where they came from, and know how to handle them. thanks philosophy/psychology!

Couldn't agree more.  Learning about psychology (philosophy, not so much), has allowed me to be prepared when unfortunate events come up unexpectedly.  I am now able to deal with them much more healthily and efficiently.  I think that psychology was more of a stepping stone to reflection though, which is the bigger reason as to why I am much more mentally/spiritually healthy now.

For once I completely disagree with you. The right approach to "philosophy" (which is such a stupidly blanket term) will do such cliched and desirable things as fulfill your life and potential and aid the evolution of your conscious mind. Thats no bullshit. I speak from (ongoing) experience.
