can these mushrooms grow in cow pastures?

pan subbs, oliviaceus, microsporus, papillionaceus, castenifolius

Its about 20c out, Its been humid lately and we had rain the last 2 nights. And a qick 5 minute downpour just finished..And im thinkin of goin to a cow pasture to look for those mushrooms. Cause their the kind that grow here. Think I could find any?

I think subbs can Niggy. I?ve read that they grow in rotting hay and stuff. It rained hard here yesterday and I went out into a cow pasture and found these. I?m almost sure they are subbs..but haven?t heard from anyone yet if they are or aren?t. They meet most descriptions. (hollow stem, blackish/purplish spore print, similar caps and gills)

Its raining here right now, fog overnight. In the morning I may go out with a friend to a pasture and look I think. Liberty caps grow the in the fall I know.

Hopeing to find at least 1 active mushroom

Subbs grow in rotting dung piles that are mixed with straw around here, Does this mean they will be on cow patties too? Im wobdering if they will be on cow patties only too..

Yeah they sometimes grow from cow patties but to a less degree, most of the pies will be colonized by some stronger breeds like pan antillarums, copes or cubies, it depends on how rainy season is rolling

I doubt very much that they will be populated by any of those breeds in Nova Scotia..hehe..and if you call antillarums stronger...hmmm...I dunno bout that. But anyways, yes Niggy you should find them in all sorts of farm fields...cow field included, look in hay, straw, lush grass, and in poo...all over the place. And those pics look like mostly subbs and a few castaneifolius...nice huntin.
