The stools themselves weren't red, so it probably means I've a cut of some sort, but I don't really know how...

I had the same thing when I was about 11 or 12. I had to go see a specialist for about 6 months before he figured out it was just a little cut right there where...you know. After that he gave me some cream and it hasn't been a problem since.

more than likely, if it doesnt hurt, you probably ate something with red in it (stool doesnt necessarily have to be red)... and wiping it off your ass puts red streaks on the tp....

Most likely just a small hemorrhoid. I had a one-off one a few years back and it was quite alarming the amount of blood that came off when I wiped. It was a bit like a girl having a period or something. Apparently they just get disturbed by the shit sliding past them, my doc said. They heal up pretty quick. Freaked out with all the "might be cancer" shit but if you're young and relatively healthy it's 95% likely nothing serious. Still definitely get it checked out, a doctor's hand up your arse isnt nice but its a damn sight better than cancerous infestation of your anus.

In all seriousness, you probably either had a hard turd that cut your anus or cut a hemmorhoid. Once, I had one dripping into the toilet after passing a stool. It was quite alarming to see the toilet water a deep red. Not a big deal. Try a stool softener so the cut can heal.

Hopefully just fissures. But even fissures are a big pain in the rear (no pun).

I had them for a while. It wasn't anything to do with my stools either. But definitely keep an eye on it. If you're shitting blood then you've got much more to be concerned about than a little nick.

A "fissure" can cause this. Like someone said, bright red is usually less cause for concern. I'm not saying don't get it checked out but, if it stops after a day or so I would assume it's a small fissure or tear. I had one a few months back after straining to take a shit.
