outdoor growth - natural

okay bout a week ago i peeped a spot out door
had some dying mushrooms on the top
it was a rotting tree stump
emptied the dead fungus to a small patch at the stumps feet and covored it up with some excess vermiculate + peat moss i had.
thouroughly soaked the verm + pmoss mix i had with h202/h20 solution, made it to the consistancy it should be.
threw it in
sprayed 4 cc's of maz on it
mixed it up
put somemore damp mix @ top

oday (friday) a freidn told me there is white rhizomorphic growth @ top.

how should i proceed to keep these babies healthy and growing for all to eat ?
(best medium to add, best things to keep pests / contams off)
i dont want to invest more than $10 in THIS outdoor site.

'swat i thought. i went back to the sight and apparently my freind doenst know how to identify mycellium. there was no growth. oh well. ill just dump my first spent cake in there. sure it will grow somethin...

who knows, a few weeks from now it could be thick with rhizomorphic growth! mm-hmm! hopefully.
