PES doesn't sell the penis envy strain now if they ever did (I've grown everything they currently sell).

Ask MJshroomer if he has spores or knows where to get them. I have seen other pictures from him of that strain but they were much smaller mushrooms. Judging by the odd cap shape, there may not be much spore production from that strain. Still cool though.

Hey hawk,
Does RICH own myco-tech?The reason i ask
is those pics are taken in the same manner as in myco's catalog. They also sell rich's
book and video. They sell compost too.But at
$60.00 for 10 lbs, that was to much. The catalog is a few years old too.

Ryche,

While those are some nice Ecuadors, I don't see what the big deal is. I've grown ones actually larger using plain straw. Perhaps compost is an excellent substrate, but I would not necessarily rank it above straw, especially considering the pain and cost of either making or buying it.

Perhaps some refresher pictures are in order: Click here to see some straw-grown Ecuadors, many of which were over 45 grams a piece! (oh, and MY mushrooms are bigger than YOUR mushrooms... na na na... Sorry I couldn't resist )

ShroomGod

PS - The biggest mushroom I ever harvested from straw was around 70 grams.

Greetings and Salutations from the planet Earth! Those Ecuadorian shrooms look fucking awesome. It is 3:30 in the morning I was up playing Resident Evil. Ever wash a pair of pants that had a fat sack of kind weed in the pocket? I am fucking absent minded! Damn Shroom God one mushroom weighed 70 grams that is incredible. 70 grams wet weight right? Those EQ's look heavy as shit. Straw rules. Are they very potent? peace!
